Your Microsoft purchase history contains records of all your Microsoft Store purchases, subscriptions, Xbox content, and hardware orders. This guide shows you how to access your complete purchase history and manage your orders.
View All Purchase History
- Go to account.microsoft.com/billing/orders
- Sign in with your Microsoft account
- View your complete order history
The order history page shows:
- Order date and number
- Product name and type
- Payment amount
- Order status
Filter and Search Orders
Use filters to find specific purchases:

Date range: Select time periods (last 3 months, last year, etc.) to narrow results.
View Order Details and Receipts
- Find the order in your history
- Click on the order to expand details
- View:
- Full item description
- Payment method used
- Tax information
- Download/access links
- Click Print or Save as PDF for a receipt
View Subscription History
For recurring subscriptions:
- Go to account.microsoft.com/services
- View all active and expired subscriptions
- Click a subscription to see:
- Start date
- Next billing date
- Payment history
- Auto-renewal status

View Xbox Purchase History
Xbox game and content purchases appear in the main order history. You can also view them on Xbox:
On Xbox Console
- Press the Xbox button
- Go to Profile & system > Settings
- Select Account > Payment & billing
- Choose Order history
On Xbox Website
- Go to xbox.com
- Sign in and click your profile
- Select Microsoft account
- Navigate to Order history
View Payment Methods
- Go to account.microsoft.com/billing/payments
- View saved payment methods:
- Credit/debit cards
- PayPal
- Bank accounts
- Microsoft account balance
- See which payment method is used for each subscription
Request a Refund
Eligible purchases can be refunded:
- Go to your order history
- Find the purchase
- Click Request a refund (if available)
- Select reason for refund
- Submit request

Download Purchased Content
Apps and Games
- Open Microsoft Store on Windows
- Click your profile icon
- Select My Library
- Find purchased items and click Install
Xbox Games
- Open My games & apps
- Go to Full library
- Select All owned games
- Choose game and install
Export Purchase History
For record-keeping or taxes:
- There's no built-in export feature
- Manual method: Print each receipt as PDF
- Support request: Contact Microsoft support for comprehensive records
- Email receipts: Search your email for "Microsoft Store" order confirmations
Troubleshooting Missing Purchases
- Check the right account: Sign in with the account used for purchase
- Check email: Search for order confirmation to identify the account
- Family purchases: Appear in the purchaser's account, not shared accounts
- Business purchases: May be in a separate work/school account
- Gift redemptions: Appear in the recipient's account, not the gifter's
